You will find resources here to assist you with the listening parts of the Piano Framework. Children aren't exposed to much classical music and if they are to become well rounded musicians they need to be listening to music regularly.
I will send regular emails with listening activities but to receive them you need to sign up below. Listening is something you can enjoy together as a family.
The Beginner stage The Beginner stage recommends listening to a variety of music from different styles and periods and recognising known musical features such as louder / quieter, faster / slower, higher / lower. The Cat and Mouse is very engaging, played by a very young child for Lang Lang so an excellent place to begin. Water Music, Eine Kleine, Variations on Twinkle (played by an 11 year old) are also excellent starting places. I've also created a listening sheet which you can download below.
